Great stock hun! But isn't it funny, there may be noooo vines growing around a graveyard, but they seem to always find their way to the graves and headstones!!
Hmmmmm......spooky xx

what a beauty of a grave. You must be proud to have this kind of graves in your city :)
Never saw this kind of grave here in the Netherlands!

I am indeed! The older the grave, the more interesting, I find ;)

Owh yes, it is!! Me and my fiance go a lot to graveyards and we only search for the really old ones. The awfull thing here in the Netherlands is, that almost ALL the old graves will get 'emptied'. They trow away the bones and destroy the old stones. This happens already after 25 year after the person died. So it is really hard to find beautiful old ones. The only graves that doesn't get 'cleaned up' are the Jewish graves or graves from really rich (and kinda) famous people.

How is it there? do the dead get peace there for real.. or like here.. peace for only 25 years!?

Aw that's so sad! I can't believe people would do that!

Come to England :) we have some beautiful graveyards. In a few weeks I'm going to visit Highgate Cemetery which is just amazing - look it up!

The dead are left in peace here :)

yes it is sad! And when we found out, we couldn't believe it either!!
When you 'bought' a grave, it only last for 25 years. If you want to keep the grave, you have to pay for another 25 years and it cost more than we earn in 3 months! So only rich people keep their graves.

And we already tought about it, to go to England. I've been in London 7 years ago and fell in love with the city.. the old buildings, not the "modern london".. and ofcourse CAMDEN TOWN! When I saw camden town, I was amazed! And we know someone who lives in England, near London and he told me about the beautiful buildings and graveyards! So maybe, when I finish my study and have an earning on my own we will make a trip to England. Can't wait hahaha!

But little question. Do you know from with year the grave is? it looks so old! ^.^
